THE SHOW’S DEFINITION OF A ROCK STAR

The guests on this show aren’t necessarily just iconic musical genius’. They are however all people who left a lasting impression in one shape or form on popular culture. They all encompass the persona of a ROCK STAR.

WHY THE SHOW STARTED

One of the hardest things to do for a small, independent production company is produce quality material on a regular basis.  We kicked around several different ideas, but Jonny Tucker was dead set on something embraceable by a large audience that could be filmed in a set location. That’s when he threw out the idea of an interview style show with dead Rock Stars. The idea was different and created excitement with all of the endless possibilities the concept yielded.

DEVELOPING THE BACK STORY

It wasn’t just enough to say, “Hey, watch this dead famous person”, there needed to be a reason why they were there. How they got there. Who was interviewing them. For awhile the idea was to have a guy with special powers summon Rock Stars, but that wasn’t quite cool enough. That’s when Tony Tucker, pulled from his ass the idea of a father-son relationship that never was because the father passed shortly before the son was born – kind of sad for a comedy we know, but it turns around.

The Father, Stanley Davis, was Hollywood’s most famous bathroom attendant, he worked all over and met everyone you could think of during his time. Towards the end of Stanley’s time on earth he met a lovely young woman during a Stones reunion concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Although he was much-much older, they fell in love and conceived, Dean Sinatra Davis – Stanley was obsessed with the Rat Pack. Stanley would pass while she was pregnant with Dean so the two would never meet.

THE JACKET

Years later, an abnormally grown Dean would be going through an old travel trunk of his fathers, looking for something to connect the two. At first it was regular bathroom attendant stuff: cologne bottles, paper towels, gum, loose cigarettes, and condoms, but at the bottom Dean pulled and dusted off his fathers bathroom attendants coat. Dean put it on, for the first time he felt connected to Stanley. He started to rub the coat, the lights started to flicker, and in a burst of smoke appeared Frank Sinatra. Mr. Sinatra would explain that when ever he wanted to put the coat on and rub the elbows a Rock Star would appear for a short time and share a story about his father, Stanley.

THE CARBON MONOXIDE NETWORK

This is a network much like any other modern network, filled with ridiculous shows, reruns and over compensating personalities. Currently, the only show you can see on this fictitious network is Rock Stars Beyond The Grave, with a new episode every Tuesday night starting September 3rd. The show consists of Dean, his best friend Gabe behind the camera, and at least one Rock Star.
